I lead corporate wellness-days as well as offer classes for all levels ranging from restorative Yin Yoga to high-intensity Corepower workouts and mindful movement classes for meditation. I also offer private, semi-private and therapeutic (for those who live with special conditions such as scoliosis, back injuries and joint replacements) sessions. Twenty percent of all proceeds from the private and semi-private sessions go to the girls at Saandhwanam (an orphanage in Kerala – the state in India where I was born) to help with their educational and medical needs, so you are supporting this good cause while practicing with me.

Gentle Community Yoga – Arlington

When:  2nd Monday of the month at 6:30. This takes place before Jonathan Foust’s meditation class. More info on Jonathan’s class can be found here.

Therapeutic Yoga for Scoliosis

When: Mondays 3pm

The bones in our body do not move unless our muscles move them. Elongation and neutralizing of the spine through specific yoga asanas can help alleviate discomfort. When the body is balanced and aligned with gravity, a yoga posture will be almost effortless. Is it possible to have a curved spine and still be balanced? Awareness of our own bodies is crucial. The goal of yoga practice should not be to straighten our backs; we must learn to accept them as they are and not to judge them.

Hot Power Fusion Yoga

A true blend of balance, core strengthening and flexibility, Hot Power Fusion combines the meditative, detoxifying qualities of hot yoga with the intensity of power yoga to help you deepen your yoga practice. Set to motivating music, you’ll focus on yoga postures that open the shoulders, hips and spine while strengthening your core and upper body.

Join a small group of multi-state-meditators calling in from Vermont to Mississippi, some from their work places, who really feel a connection with the Sangha. CorePower yoga will challenge your body, mind, and spirit. It is a high-intensity Vinyasa-based yoga workout without losing the meditative, contemplative aspect of the practice. You will work every muscle and every emotion.

Semi-Private Sessions

These small group sessions (Minimum 2 and maximum 5 participants) are perfect for those that are looking for individual attention and hands-on guidance in a more social environment.

Private Sessions

One-on-one sessions customized to meet each student’s unique needs.

I can address any particular discomfort — whether it is your shoulders, wrists, low back or knees — and I will craft yoga sequences to improve your issues (or work around them safely). We will track your progress over time and make adjustments to your practice based on the results we find. Each session will end with a short guided meditation.
